2019 Eagle Bay Contractor/Dealer Day Recap


In mid-February, we welcomed over 200 contractors and dealers from the Mid-Atlantic region to take part in our Contractor and Dealer Day events. This year’s two-day seminar included presentations from Aaron Phifer of Techniseal, Chris Ebbessen from Anchor Wall Systems, and John F. Martin from Ogletree Deakins as well as a marketing panel featuring our marketing partners at Release the Hounds.

The seminars began with an insightful talk by John F. Martin about silica regulations. Martin has over 15 years of experience with occupational safety and health compliance, and his valuable information will go far in helping our contractors maintain OSHA-compliant work sites.

After lunch, contractors and dealers received marketing tips and learned tactics for small businesses from an expert panel consisting of our marketing agency—Release the Hounds—and media and SEO experts from Lewis Media Partners. The panel spoke about their individual fields of specialty and took questions from the audience regarding growing their presence on social media platforms and reaching consumers.

The seminars concluded with information about how to best estimate jobs and improve customer service from Director of Sales Greg Kirkman and an overview of all the programs Eagle Bay offers to the contractor. Eagle Bay prides itself on being easy to do business with and is excited to be able to offer a range of programs designed to help contractors better serve their clients and grow their businesses.

The team at Eagle Bay is grateful to everyone who took time out of their schedules to attend, especially those from Techniseal, Anchor Wall systems, Lewis Media Partners and Release the Hounds. This year’s event nearly doubled last year’s attendance, and we’re excited to see what 2020 brings.
