Eagle Bay 2017 Dealer Day

Earlier this month, we hosted our annual Dealer Day at the Hilton Richmond Short Pump Hotel and Spa. Dealers from all over the region joined us to learn about market trends, our VizTerra Design Studio, and new products and colors.

The day started with Greg Kirkman, Director of Sales, giving an in-depth presentation on dealer engagement and market trends. He covered Eagle Bay’s dealer initiatives for 2017 and spoke about developments in the industry.

“A lot of vendors don’t do anything like this. Eagle Bay does a good job getting the dealers all together so we can hear about what’s going on in the industry and their programs and incentives,” says Dave King from Yorktown Materials.

Matt Kwarta, Director of Marketing, talked about the evolution of our HARDSCAPE HERO program. Some of the updates include more prizes for the winning contractor and an increase in prizes for the dealer who sells products to the winning contractor. The HARDSCAPE HERO of The Year award is also being expanded to include more prizes, including new prizes contributed by Anchor Wall Systems and Techniseal.

“I’ve been a part of the Dealer Day since Eagle Bay started doing it. It’s been very valuable to get the dealers in early on and help them roll out new products and services. This event is different because it really nurtures and focuses on the dealers,” says Chris Ebbesen, Account Manager at Anchor Wall Systems.

The afternoon presentations included educational information about the new Brisa Wall presented by Chris Ebbesen from Anchor Wall Systems and a talk from Aaron Phifer, Regional Sales Manager at Techniseal, on new enhancements for paver cleaners and sealers in 2017.

“I travel across the country and get to see a lot of events like this, and Eagle Bay puts on a great show. They offer valuable resources and programs to dealers. This event shows that Eagle Bay is really committed to their dealer network and to helping everyone thrive and make money,” states Phifer.

Dealers finished out the day talking shop and swapping jokes over a steak dinner at Shula’s American Steakhouse. “We love getting together with the dealers after the event and having a good time. It’s important to Eagle Bay that everyone feels engaged, welcomed and most importantly, appreciated. Dealer Day lets us spend time with a key player of the team: our dealers,” says Kwarta.
